Canadian Flag Beer Cozy (Tall)

Oh, Canada....

Canada Day is still a while away, but I'm living for tapestry crochet designs! So here's a new beer cozy (for taller cans). Perhaps you're Canadian, love Canada, or a huge fan of Maple Syrup? Either way, your beer will be cute and cozy!

Enjoy! :)

N.B: Writing my patterns can be quite time consuming and I do my best to make sure they are clear, coherent and easy to follow. Since I provide them for free, I would appreciate it if you could please follow me on Instagram @slipstitch_hollow or on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/slipstitchhollow.

Or, you can sign up to my mailing list! By following me through these platforms, you will receive all updates about new patterns, items for sale, art installations and my undying gratitude! :)

You will need:

  • A 4mm (G) crochet hook

  • Medium weight yarn in Red and White

  • A beer for when you're done! (or a non-alcoholic beverage, if you prefer!)

In order to make this cozy, you will need to know how to tapestry crochet in back loops only. There is a fantastic video tutorial via ChabePatterns explaining how to do both here:

This is the leaf pattern we will be using:
