Love My Beer Cozy Pattern

Updated: Mar 22, 2023

Do you love beer? Me too! Or soda, if alcohol isn't your thing? Do you hate holding cold, wet cans pulled right out of the eski/cooler/chilli bin? Not to worry, I've written up a pattern that will keep your fingers comfortable - the Love My Beer cozy! It also helps you identify which drink is yours when you put it down amongst other cans :)

You will need:

  • A 4mm (G) crochet hook

  • Medium weight yarn in two colours of your choice

  • A beer for when you're done! (or a non-alcoholic beverage)

* Since we will be working with two colours, we will be referring to them as Colour A (CA) and Colour B (CB) *

In order you make this pattern you will need to know how to do tapestry crochet in back loops only.

There is a fantastic video tutorial on how to do both from ChabePatterns which you can see here:

The heart we are creating will look like this:

This image shows how many stitches are in each row for the heart.

The progression of the heart:

And the finished heart:

Let's get crocheting!!
