You will need:
Worsted weight yarn (4) in yellow and white
4mm hook (G) OR a 3.25mm (In the tutorial below I used a 3.25mm)
Chain 2
Row 1: 6sc in the second chain from hook, slip stitch to the first sc to join (6sc)
Row 2: 2sc in each stitch around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (12sc)
Row 3: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next, repeat around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (18sc)
Row 4: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 2 stitches, repeat around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (24sc)
Row 5: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 3 stitches, repeat around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (30sc)
Row 6: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 4 stitches, repeat around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (36sc)
CHANGE TO WHITE
Row 7: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 5 stitches, repeat around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (42sc)
Row 8: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 6 stitches, repeat around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (48sc)
Row 9: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 7 stitches, repeat around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (54sc)
Row 10: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 8 stitches, repeat around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (60sc)
Row 11: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 9 stitches, repeat around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (66sc)
Row 12: 1sc in each stitch around, slip stitch to the first sc to join (66sc)
BORDER:
Here is where we will be creating the wavy shape to the egg. If you'd prefer to keep it as a circle, then you can ignore this row and fasten off!
Row 13: 1sc in the same stitch, 1hdc in the next 2 stitches 1dc in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch, 1tr in the next 2 stitches, 1dc in the next stitch, 1hdc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 7 stitches, 1hdc in the next 2 stitches, 1dc in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch, 1tr in the next stitch, 2tr in the next stitch, 1tr in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch, 1dc in the next stitch, 2hdc in the next stitch, 1hdc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next stitch, 1dc in the next stitch, 2tr in the next stitch, 1tr in the next stitch, 1dc in the next stitch, 1hdc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 4 stitches, 1hdc in the next stitch, 2hdc in the next stitch, 1dc in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch, 1dc in the next stitch, 2hdc in the next stitch, 1hdc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 7 stitches, 1hdc in the next stitch, 2hdc in the next stitch, 1dc in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch, 1tr in the next stitch, 2tr in the next stitch, 1tr in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch, 1dc in the next stitch, 2hdc in the next stitch, 1hdc in the next stitch, 1sc in each remaining stitch to the end.
Fasten off, weave in ends.
