You will need:
A 4mm (G) crochet hook
Worsted weight yarn in Red and White
Let's get crocheting!
HAT:
Chain 2.
Round 1: 4sc in the second chain from hook.
Round 2: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next, 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next (6sc)
Round 3: 1sc in each stitch around (6sc)
Round 4: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in th next stitch, repeat two more times (9sc)
Round 5: 1sc in each stitch around (9sc)
Round 6: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 2 stitches, repeat two more times (12sc)
Round 7: 1sc in each stitch around (12sc)
Round 8: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 3 stitches, repeat two more times (15sc)
Round 9: 1sc in each stitch around (15sc)
Round 10: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 4 stitches, repeat two more times (18sc)
Round 11: 1sc in each stitch around (18sc)
Change to white
Round 12: 2sc in the next stitch, 1sc in the next 5 stitches, repeat two more times (21sc)
Round 13: Using the Crab Stitch, make 1sc in each stitch (going in the opposite direction) until you reach the end. Fasten off, Weave in ends.
POM-POM:
Chain 2.
Round 1: In second chain from hook, 6sc
Round 2: 2sc in each stitch around (12sc)
Round 3 - 4: 1sc in each stitch around {12sc)
Round 5: sc2tog, repeat around, fasten off, leaving a tail to sew to the hat.
Sew the pom-pom to the end of the hat, and you're done! I hope you enjoyed this pattern!
